Today, it was my definition of perfect running weather. Cool and a little damp.
I walked instead, twice, as I was with first a friend and then one of my daughters.
We were using up Groupons before they expired.
I don't often get to go on errands with a female friend anymore. It's always fun. I popped into a fitness store and found a lovely running skirt for her, which she told me there was no way she'd wear. Wait a minute -- *I'll* wear those, I told her. She said that my legs are thinner than hers.
Whatever.
I'm so sick of that kind of stuff, from myself and -- even more so, of course -- from other people.
I told her I like being older, as I have so much more confidence, even more body confidence than I did when I was younger and had a much more lovely body.
She says that's because I'm married. If I were single, I'd be just as paranoid.
Maybe.
